About Me

When I moved into an old property out in the countryside, I didn't realise that it wouldn't be connected to the local sewer system. The place was fitted with a septic tank which was emptied every couple of weeks by some guys in a truck. Thankfully, my neighbours were very kind and explained everything I needed to know about septic systems, chemical pumps and other sanitation solutions. They even offered advice about garbage disposal and skip bins when I cleared out the place. I decided to start this blog as a way of paying back my neighbour's kindness. I hope it is useful to others.
